Info:
I had to try like 20 times to upload this video, and when it finally works, it got corrupted! Anyway, AA is a band that is extremely generic, but sometimes that's what your sorta in the mood for. This song was incredibly easy but very fun to play, I was actually learning it just before recording without any practice.
Techniques/Tips:
- Nothing hard here.
- On the outro riff, there is a part where they play open notes, but where every second note is accentuated. Do this by palm muting the down pick, but raising your hand and pulling back hard on the upstroke to get that "twang" on the 2nd note.
Gear:
Guitar: Schecter Solo-6 (Black Cherry)
- Neck pickup: Stock Active Pickup
- Bridge pickup: Stock Active Pickup
Strings: GHS Boomers 12-52
Tuning: Drop C (CGCFAD)
Effects: POD X3
- All patch's: 2002 Angel P-Ball
Video: Canon Legria HFR16
Audio Editing: Audacity
Video Editing: Sony Vegas Pro 9
Tabs:
Version 1 by Rolstorm seemed pretty much perfect. Was missing the synth section, but that has nothing to do with guitars.
Sick man!
