hey ...but it sounds like the playback music is to loud to hear your sound ,,,my advise is to record the video again without petrucci playing ! :) haa what do you think can u do that? ha ?

lovely work. But if you thought the BT was mising something, add it. You seem to have a lot of studio tools? Just think that hearing only you would add a great deal to your videos.

Do you have the live version backing track I was unable to find that one?

why would you want the live version backing.. the studio backing is just the same, cept without portnoy on drums.

I thought I responded to this but it didnt show up, basically to be honest with you I thnk the backing track that is available out there was not mixed that well and the guitar that they have added should have been left out. Also, the middle section of the live version is not the same as the studio version. There are differences between the two, quite alot actually.

how long have you been playing for ? cos im 13 and have been playing for 9 years but im not progressing any more im jst staying the same since bout a year ago

What you need to do is practice some new more chalenging things, I'm always learning some new technique and some of them I have to practice at very slow speeds until I can slowly pick the speed up over weeks of practice. I think some of the issues with learning is everyone is trying to learn a solo from a song before they learn some of the basic guitar techniques. The more guitar licks you can learn the easier solos will come to you later.
