This is a (very) quick and easy lesson on how to use the Canon Rebel T3i's new Movie Digital Zoom feature. It can be a little tricky to activate because you need to be shooting at 1080 (not 720, not 480) and it also has to be turned on in this mode (there is an "off" setting). This video will show you the easiest way to turn it on and how to control it. As far as image quality goes, it looks best at 3x and starts to fall apart once you zoom in.

This is just one of many lessons from my new Canon T3i Crash Course Video which will get you up to speed on how to shoot great photos and video in no time. The course assumes you know nothing about photography and demonstrates all the techniques to be proficient with your camera. It can be ordered from this link: http://www.canontrainingvideo.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=...

  • thank you homie

  • This might be a dumb comment, but I've found it very helpful when putting links in YouTube video. Make the Link (MichaelTheMaven) the VERY FIRST thing in your description. That way when people don't expand the description, they'll still see the link below the video. Hopefully this will be helpful to you. Awesome Video!

  • dumb question, how do you focus during shooting a video?

  • what does it mean when you shoot video and it automaticaly stops ...someone told me it has somthing to do with lighting

  • @ChangeMuzik had a 'class 10 PNY' card that didn't let me shoot video, switched to a 16gb sandisk class 10 and it records as it should

  • @ChangeMuzik I had that same problem when I bought mine. Ultimately, it boils down to your SD card. They're a bit more expensive, but you need a Class 10 SDHC memory card to shoot video. The files are so large when your shooting in High Def. the processing speed of any card less than class 10 is "not" sufficient. Hope this helps!

  • @Mysticblue1212 it might be your SD card try to get atleast a class 6 32gb card.
