One last thing for the conspiracy buffs....Dr. Shafica Karagulla, M.D was the aunt of George Noory host of Coast to Coast AM.

Dr. Shafica Karagulla wrote a book "Breakthrough to Creativity" 1967. It is an excellent book. However, I have never read the alleged book called..."Secrets of the Paranormal from behind the Iron Curtain"

Her name was Dr. Shafica Karagulla...not Caragola.

Dr. Karagulla asserted that a large number of successful physicians she interviewed showed signs of what she called Higher Sense Perception , which they relied upon when they made each medical diagnosis. However, the precense of auras and the ability of "medical intuitives" to accurately diagnose illness has never been empirically validated under controlled conditions. Did considerable amount of her work at UCLA in the 1960s.
