It shows how I fixed the vertical lines on the right half of a Samsung LCD screen tv.

  • Unfortunately these are not the lines that are problematic for me! They are horizontal, quite thin and flicker about somewhat randomly.

  • @Sarkosity hi there, Ok, for all the symptoms you tell me you'll need to disasamble the tv, back cover, front cover, then remove the metalic frame it holds in place the screen, you need to be very careful, before removing it, be sure to lay down the tv cause after removing the metal frame the screen could fall and breake, its the only thing that holds it in place. once you remove that, start pressing gently the bond tabs on the left side once you find the one or ones that are causeing the flicke

  • @Sarkosity secure them with something not conductive and heat resistant, like I did on this video. You have the same problem, just that the false contact is on the union with the bond tabs. It's not always fixable, Its not always fixable, but Its worth the try. Be very careful, the screen is very delicate and expensive. also you'll be working while the tv is on, So again, be very very careful, you could get an electric shock. Good luck!

  • Hi, This video is great but I have a similar problem with my samsung LCD tv, just not exactly the same. The left half of my screen goes dark, an moves slower and kind of ghosts when the tv is first turned on and then works fine when i tap the back of the tv and the same thing only occurs every so often once the tv has "warmed up" and then goes away after 20-30 secs. Any suggestions or ideas would be great. thanks!

  • Thanks, another great video!
