I am looking to purchase my first flip. I really like the slide, but am worried that the 30 fps and only rechargable battery are major set backs. Should i get the slide or ultra hd 3rd generation? Also do you know if a new slide model will be coming out soon?

@TheDWdrummer7 The next version of Flip cameras should be launching in May I'm guessing based upon their previous releases. Just go with the Ultra 3

I just got mine today, and mine won't even turn on. Please message me to help. I've already tried charging it and the thing doesn't even show the charging screen. I really need help so I can record Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow.

flip cameras are expensive toys not worth the money, you best to save up and get a real camera. I have mino HD flip camera and I can tell you it doesn't record in 720p because when I uploaded my video using the flip share software to youtube it was uploaded in 320p, their is no option too upload it in 720p and the cameras settings are so basic.
