This test/demonstration was conducted by Weyerhaeuser Research & Development (WRD) in the State of Washington in April 2008.
The protocols for the test were extrapolated from an earlier demonstration/test which followed the guidelines in Subpart M Appendix C conducted by LeBlanc Building Co., Inc. Scottsdale Arizona in August 2007.
Both tests show open and/or partially sheathed trusses can be used as anchor points so long as industry standard bracing methods are maintained at all times.
The tests do not in anyway assume any liability to the use of PFAS on any structure. Anyone using a PFAS should refer and follow manufacturer instructions before use.
