@webvideochefs it is amazing, i know a lot of people dislike it compared to the last version but honestly it is kick ass :)

@overlander Does that camera have a firewire? You may be able to record to your cam, then import the audio via firewire. What kind of computer are you using? You can get an device like the solo or a sound capture device that takes XLR. Personally, I use a Duet and a high end analog mic. Or you can get a USB mic, like a Blue Snowball. ~Amani

@sbrave Yeah my first news station in DC was on Avid back in '97. That's how I learned. Then my next station was tape to tape BETA-SP. Somewhere along the line FCP kind of took over, but those days seem numbered, if not over. ~Amani
how to do the same for video? I want to capture video on top of another video in real time.

Do you know how to make he audio and the video join together so when you cut and mix the audio stays where you placed it? PLEASE REPLY

@Venacity The audio and video tracks aren't permanently joined together until you export the video. There are separate audio and video tracks. And you can move everything around. Once you slide the audio into place it stays, but you can always shift the audio and video around.
