Louisiana Lightning pitching and Thurman Munson catching. Two class acts of the greatest franchise in MLB history. To be a kid back then, and a Yankee fan, was a whole lot of fun.

@kyokogodai I was listening to that game on WNEW (was that the Yankee radio station)? on my little 9V AM pocket radio on my friend Mike Santino's front porch the night that happened. Yanks won the series that year too. Guidry's record that year was 26 and 3!! and he refused to pitch in the All Star game because he didn't want to get hurt or pitch out of rotation because it would have a negative effect on the Yankees chances to win the pennant and the series. What a guy.

The yankees all sucked a cow ball sack while they were fingering mary jane rotten crotch and they had but sex with the whole farm animals then they decided to take stairoids while they were on the farm then they went and played baseball and bribed all the cops not to test them for roids then they all had a circle jerk after their games then they all decided to become fucked up homosexuals and live on their gay farm where they can fuck animals all day and then take more roids and play baseball.

Ron, I was there on that June day in '78 and want to thank-you for that lifetime memory! Some 30+ years later and I cherish that as one of my best memories. That and that pinstiped toyota celica!
