Fantastic satire. Captures the feel of the real ''Red Fisher Show'' perfectly. Red was a lot older. I wonder what he would have thought of this. Gil hates outdoor cooking and fish. Wonderful. John Candy did his homework.

I miss SCTV. Simple sketch comedy that worked, even with silly premises like The Fishin Musician. Some of the humor was uinquely Canadian, but most of it translated even to American audiences.
