So, you're saying that because George W. is pres he represents you? Sure on a certain level he represents the nation, but you personally? Furthermore, Cedric's not an elected official anyway. This is crazy talk. People have a right to voice their opinions and they have the right to listen to whomever they choose.

history dictates that before there were black ppl to 'represent' the race for their virtues and weaknesses as people and individuals Europeans and Americans were force fed propaganda and lies that filtered to the Minstrels Show to Cedric...ppl don't see how destructive it is... not the BIGGEST prob but its a prob.

I think there's room enough for more than one type of representation, and it all starts with the individual and the way we ourselves represent in our daily walk and conversation with others. Nobody represents me but me, however that doesn't stop me from listening to what others have to say.

you are very right. But as a 'personality' Cedric the Entertainer should find himself with empty studio halls for his comedy and empty cinemas for "movies" like Code name the Cleaner. We are all individuals but even corporation pertend to have something called 'social responsibility'. Petey Green represented the dilution of issues civl right community activists in the shape of comedians = ignorance. Jon Stewart is no different..even though we love him
