Islamic Center of Pittsburgh's chidlren on WQED

WQED's presentation on the Birdz Camp. Many of the children that attended were from the Islamic Center of Pittsburgh's Summer Program. The Children got the opportunity this past summer to attend BIRDZ Camp, for 5th-8th graders. They learned how to Develop new skills of observing birds by spending lots of time in the field with the correct equipment, and with an expert guide, Bob VanNewkirk. Included in the camp were visits to Todd Nature Reserve and North Park , with a trip to Pymatunning to see Bald eagles rounding out the week.
