Personally, I don't care for these veils, but he's right: it's none of my business. I can`t speak for politics in the UK or the continental Europe, but in Canada, our conservatives slash & burn programs that would help victims of violent crime even as they claim to be oh-so concerned about possible victims of abuse in Muslim homes... and too many liberals let them. I`m ashamed to admit I fell for some of it, esp. when secular muslims deplored the veils, but no more.

@nghivu yes there are a few countries that force people to dress a certain way like the saudi. But not all muslim countries like pakistan, somaliland, indonesia. Somaliland don't have the sha'ria law and the women aren't forced to wear a hijab, or a burka but they do it of free will. Is somaliland a dictatorship no their democratic a lot of women vote, and work in jobs like the police, hospitals, military and etc. and no one apart from extremists are saying to follow its just the media saying it
