oi, uh, I'll just tell you guys this now for fair warning, JB do NOT have purity rings in this. YET, there will not be really anything graphic, perhaps mentioned, but not...well, you know. and, just in case you didn't see my comment on the preview, this does take place in London. :)

"Lucy, I'm going to be out for the afternoon. Would you mind coming and watching the store for me?"
I looked at the clock on my nightstand, 10:30AM. "Oh, yeah, of course Nadi. I'll just come now." I answered, closing my book and setting it down on my bed. "Oh, thank you, honey, you're an angel." I heard her chuckle into the phone. I smiled, "As you say..." I thought to myself, "So, what's the reason behind your absence anyway? Not to sound too weird or anything..." I laughed, pulling on some dark jeans and turning the radio on low. "Oh, my niece, Addy, overheard her favorite band, the Jonas Brothers, I believe they're called, is here in ol' London and is taking me on...a little roadtrip, I guess you could say." she said. I gave a little smile as I overheard this, then turned to the radio as I noticed the infamous 'Burnin' Up' play from it's speakers, "Yeah, they seem to be getting very popular these days."
Nadine laughed on the other side, "Very much. Did you have a good sleep, dear?" I looked at my bed. which remained clean and neat, just as it had since my mother had bought it. Which also brought me to the question, why did she bother buying me that, anyway? Since I was born a vampire, for hell's sake, she should've been aware that I'd be just like her, not be able to sleep because, well, let's see, I'M A VAMPIRE? But, enough of that, I suppose it makes a good reading spot. Back to the original question, "Yes, I did. Thank you, how was yours?" I asked, grabbing my keys from my dresser basket. "Very good, dear. I must be off now, I will see you soon," Nadine said, then quickly added, "Oh, and if you happen to pass any of those Jonas boys, could you get an autograph for my niece?" I smiled, "Of course. Bye." I said, "Goodbye, dear." Nadine replied before hanging up the phone.
I walked down the stairs, and saw my mother in the living room with my brother, Lucas, who was playing his Xbox 360. She looked over at me, "Oh, good morning, Lucy. Would you like anything to eat? There are some raw hamburger patties out on the counter." she informed. Lucas turned around, a patty hanging between his teeth, "Ish cahun fayfor!" he exclaimed, his mouth full of the uncooked meat. I made a face at him, then looked back at my mother, "Um, I'll just have some tea." I answered her. She smiled, "There's some heating up in the microwave, help yourself."
I walked into the kitchen, opened the microwave and pulled out the thermos. "I'll just take it with me..." I thought, pouring the hot, ruby-colored liquid into a travel cup. Of course, tea in this household was just heated up blood, but no one could know that. Unless you tasted it, of course.
Within a couple seconds, I arrived at the Art Shoppe Galore. The bells jingled as I entered the motionless site, and looked up. My unfinished work stood staring at me, making me smile. I took my jacket off and placed it on the counter, grabbing my brushes in the process. I turned the radio to CD, #12, and smiled as one of my favorite songs rang through my ears. Figuring I'd be the only one here for the afternoon, I turned the volume up, and zipped up to the riser. Once up, I brought the paints closer to me, dipped my brush in the rich, red paint, closed my eyes for a second, then started to work.
[Just part one. Apparently the full chapter was too long lol. And, it's really late. I'll see if I can post the next part right after. rate&comment&subscribe!]
