  • Research Anatabloc - an anti-inflammatory based on anatabine, a substance found in tobacco.

  • I love you! lol I am so glad I found your site today! I have Crohn's Disease and can't get the inflammation under control.I dont agree with the doctors' recommendations for treatment, prob never will agree with doctors that suggest conventional treatments = garbage in my opinion. If I don't die from Crohn's, I'll die from the treatment (remicade) for sure.. So no thanks, i'll take my Crohn's, thanks. I will look for more videos on this topic. You are very helpful. Thanks for posting :)

  • my friend was using cannabis as an anti inflammatory and it stopped working when he began eating ginger. is this because ginger is a natural cox 2 inhibitor

  • i have r. arthritis. i found eliminating inflammatory foods helped somewhat. the greatest relief i get is from eating cannabis. not only is it a pain reliever but also an anti inflammatory. this is only effective if one is avoiding cox2inhibitors

  • Dr. Mercola, I respect you so much. May I add one more area that may lead to auto-immunes? Menopause, both in men and women. I tried all the recommendations and in addition natural liver clenses but could not escape my autoimmune/allergic conditions that began at age 38 until I finally found Dr. Roby, in Austin Texas, who balanced my hormones with bio-identical hormones and homeopathy for allergies. Finally relief! Thank you for educating the public and standing up for your beliefs.

  • Why do people try to mock someone who is making so much contribution for everyone's health. If someone does not agree with what Dr.Mercola says, just stay tuned on what you believe and let those who want to hear truth read in Peace. Thank you Dr.Mercola you are an inspiration to my work as a nutritionist.

  • great info. thanks.

  • I am 26 and was diagnosed with Lupus about 4 years ago. I have REALLY done my homework in investigating alternative therapies. I have found the RNA/DNA supplements to be extremely helpgul in controlling my inflammation. MSM has really seemed to help also, even with the pain. Most people with Lupus tend to have overgrowths of Candida so keeping that under control is important. I use "food grade" hydrogen peroxide orally in small amounts dilluted with water to keep the yeast controlled.

  • I was diagnosed with iritus (inflamation of the iris) this weekend and told it's often related to an autoimmune response. I'm wondering what may have triggered this and if and/or what I did & can do to heal & prevent this from reoccuring, if possible. I am using prednisolone eyedrops 1x p/hr & phenylephrine & cyclopentolate eyedrops4xp/day. ER & optic docs don't think it's related to diet, but I'm not sure. Seeking understanding. Will research more. Any wisdom or resources, please share! Thanx

  • There is a thick line between reactionary quackery and basic, rational decision-making. Go do a wheatgrass enema a put on your 911 was an inside job t-shirt ; maybe that'll help clear your head.

  • great info as always

  • never is unless removing body parts from your body or poisoning you with chemical pills is the best for you

    get smart stop seeing MD

  • Just my two cents:

As always, excellent well-reasoned health advice from you, Doctor. Thanks for consistently providing some much needed perspective in regards to health and well-being!

  • sometimes conventional medicine is best. sometimes. i don't understand why you have to badmouth statins when they help in some cases and you make radical blanket statements: I'm unsubscribing.

  • Reply to meggiblu: Thanks, I have just heard of it, I will look into it for more details. Barb

  • Have you looked into Plantar Fasciitis?

  • I apologize... I just wish people wouldn't focus so much on the superficial and actually listen to the information being dispensed.

Try not to be so rude next time.

    God bless...

  • My left foot has been hurting for 3 months now and the Doctor's out this way do nothing. I have no idea why it hurts to walk so much. I asked for an x-ray but they haven't taken one yet. Barb

  • I wish you lived in my town, we need a good Doctor out my way. Barb

  • well, I do have really awesome hair. So you're probably right.

And it's just that the dude obviously tries to look nice and it's funny b/c his hair is out of place. It wouldn't be so notable on a scruffy person.

It's also not like he can't comb the shit back...it's not like I am calling him ugly or something in reference to a trait he can't change.

    lighten up.

  • The world would be a better place if we all had hair like you, right??
