The cigar has clearly not been stored properly. Judging by your vid on cutting, I'm guessing you also cut too much off the head. BTW - Montecristo is one word. You have to learn more if you're going to continue to make these videos.

I'm smoking a Cuban Monte cristo as I type this, and it has excellent construction. perhaps a bit spicy for my taste, but seems to smooth as it smokes.
