@imjyfl I completely empathise and understand Mary. Nothing worse when the children leave the home and worse when they join the services when there in conflict and war going on. I left home to join the Army too and did not realise how it would have hurt mum until I became one myself and I mourned for ages when my eldest went to England to live for two years lol, I was the saddest thing you had ever seen. The Armed Forces are wonderful for both men and women so I wish your son the very best.
