  • Um.......I thought it was for 2013

  • SW7 is expected to be a 20 Million project!

  • @sally111296 blank hole tent, the beatie us a retired kids ride carefull who you cal stupid but the flum is being removed for 213 new ride Code name SW7 however next year will see the opening on a new atration for 2012.

    - lovealtontowers.

  • apparently sw7 is going to be better than the new at thorpe park and apparently it has spinning seats!!

  • Balloon the ride, Yup. It's official..

  • @MattCamMans indeed it is a great job =D and i have been to managers and they have all said yes there will be something new in 2012 but as far as anyone knows it will only be small ride (like little beastie) but there is a SW7 in the pipe like but not for a few years, they do like to make you wait lol or could have something to do with the fact that TH13TEEN cost £16M to design and build and that kind of money dont grown on trees i mean we had to wait 5 yeas since RITA opened to get a new ride.

  • @GemiZZle Your really lucky to work there! It is a dream job for me to work as a ride technician!

  • you people do talk some shit, i work there and oblivion is NOT going anywhere anytime soon with only 13 years spent of its 30 year life-span. and the balloons were something to do with the fireworks display ( taken down before the displays )

  • @TheSuperadman are you a fuck shit?! oblivion is the best ride in Alton Towers according to surveys. it also states that its the most intense coaster on the park, meaning its really an advantage to the park and oblivion is really a very important component of what is the Alton Towers now. so this comment is not true. believe it.

  • To the people who want a wooden coaster (including me!!) Alton Towers submitted a request but it was denied because of Alton (the town) not wanting loud and rickety rides. :(
