astro a40 penny artistic edition

Astro a40 Penny arcade artist edition. I just got these in the other day. I have the tolsink optic cable ordered from a cheaper source called Monoprice(dot)com. I got the cable for 3 bucks. I'm burning in the speakers right now. To burn in any headphones get the down load "white noise" It hits all frequencies so that the speakers will break in over a period of 100 hrs. Some don't need the 100 hrs. I haven't said anything in the clip, I just wanted to show the Penny arcade tags with the black headset.

I finished burning in the 100 hours for the speakers and the highs have soften up and are clear. I am a bass head but too much bass just makes too much sound to hear everyone online. So the bass is perfect IMO for online playing. The mic is nice and clear sounding and I like the fact that I can change the in-game sound and chat sound. Other than that my review for these headphones are 2 thumbs up! They aren't audiophile headphones but they'll do for the online playing.

The reason I got the Penny addition is because I like to draw and just liked the pic on the Penny's. If you are interested in getting these headphones and don't like any of the tags which you have seen in most of the reviews. Go to this link:

HOW DO U UPLOAD AN IMAGE TO THE CUSTOMIZER AND DO THEY SHIP TO THE UK AND DO YOU HAVE TO BUY THE HEADSET WITH THE TAGS OR CAN U BUY THE TAGS LATER ?

@JamboHD oh... mm you'd have to talk to a rep from astro. i never uploaded and pics for them to put on the tags. I bought them like this. when you get a head set they come with tags already.

lol what part of hawaii? ya they do. theres suppose to have 2 boxes with the black astro tags and the penny artistic tags or what ever other tags you purchase. =)

I like the Astros but everyone had their preference. I hear the Trittons are pretty good too.. cheaper... but I like the Astros because of the amp =)
