  • just watched a few of your videos and i like them alot. and i love to hunt but i really like squirrel hunting its the first thing i ever hunted when i was 13 so it brings back good memories. anyhow i subscribed and thank you for all the good info.

  • @ap13461 Glad you liked it. I think squirrels are the first thing we learn how to hunt, good practice for future hunters. Remember, use what you take.

  • Use what you take! I like your style. This country needs more people with your attitude. I've been enjoying your videos quite a bit! you like the .17 hmr at all? probably too destructive for squirrel if planning to use the meat. still, a .17 with fmj bullet it doesn't rip 'em up.

    Happy hunting! shoot safe :)

  • @BigAgitator Thank you sir, that's what my g'ma taught me. The .17, for me, is a specialized round. High velocity, light, good for long range, but I never shoot at anything over 50 meters at the most, too much vegetation in the places I hunt. But if I lived on the plains, .17 would be the choice for small game.

  • hey, when i squirrell hunt i just dump the bodies or bury them, can you make a video on how to prepare them cause that squirrell stew sounds pretty damn good.......plz let me know when you do =)

  • If you search, there's already some great vids on how to clean them, as for stew, throw whatever you like in the pot. I fry the meat first to make sure it's cooked.
