Wanting things = craving and that feeling can never bring Peace only dissatisfaction with what we already have. Unfortunately the economy is based on this ... encouraging people to want, want and want more& more hence the constant battle to increase consumer spending ..... the end result for the consumer being misery .. the exact opposite of what they were seeking which was happiness.

I agree, and their is nothing wrong with wanting things, it can be a part of life.

One of the main points here is that people tend to project their source of happiness as being outside of themselves. There is nothing wrong with having possessions. But does one feel that they would increase or lose their "happiness" if they obtained or lost these possessions? (same goes for relationships, jobs, etc.....)

What Dr. Hawkins teaches us is that our true source of happiness comes from within and that we can experience this regardless of external conditions. Seek the Source.

We all know that material wealth won't make us happy but certainly having no money and being in debt can make us extremely miserable.

Whilst we know this we are still having this absurd earthly experience and on the basis of that I would much rather have an Aston Martin than catch a bus, I would much rather have a beautiful house on the beach than live in a slum.

Evolution is omnipresent. Evolution is also all knowing eventually and Evolution gets better so its a kind of all loving.

They won't, the bill is for the repayment of a loan with debt, two negatives make a positive, it you owe them debt they owe you money!

Ask for proof of collaterol at the tim ethe credit was extended or is it just numbrs in a computer?
