Big Al & I do a version of Killing Joke's Wardance in his old flat in Tay Street not long after he moved in and before he decorated. Big Al was one of the first people ever to have a consumer video camera. It was huge (it came with a shoulder rest) and took full size video cassettes. We had to do the first shot about twenty times as I kept laughing when he keeled over. In the end we had to accept defeat and carry on regardless. I'm not sure if (home) video editing had been invented but we sure didn't have any. We had to just pause the tape when we changed scene and hope it synched up (which it rarely did).
