Thanks to backcountrypipe for the request! Hope this answers some questions. It was certainly fun to talk about.

  • What you said around 20:20 resonated with me, because such happened to me. I have since then rediscovered Christ, but that was deeply rooted in my questioning the existence of God.

  • @stabnshoot Funny how many people don't think about it...

  • Excellent video. Merry Christmas to you and your family!

  • @MeerschaumMan Hope you had a great Christmas!

  • @joffrethegiant Most Europeans would not regard rules which protect the Environment as over-regulation

  • @significantguy I really like that we're not over-regulated here, but it would be nice to have an optional program...

  • @joffrethegiant Ahhh! Difficult for you if there isn't a trash programme! Over here in the UK local authorities have to re-cycle a proportion of municipal waste as a matter of law. So my local authority provides me with three bins - one for general trash, one for re-cyclables (paper, plastics, glass etc), and one for green waste.

    Best wishes for 2012.

    Paul

  • @significantguy Hope you had a great Christmas.

The biggest reason we don't recycle is simply the lack of a program in our town. In the end I have to say I don't care enough, since I don't care enough to buy my own crates, divide all the trash, and drive it to a distant recycling center, but there it is. We would recycle if it were part of our trash program.

  • Joffre - interesting video, clips, thoughts, and sentiments. I did however emit an involuntary "tutt!" when you said that you didn't re-cycle! My message to you this Christmas is to, like the wise men, follow that STAR, and to (S)top, (T)hink, (A)nd (R)e-cycle !

    Merry Christmas,

    Paul

  • @TheoGeekNZ I believe you would too.
