All this shows is that you clearly didn't play the game. Don't know who you're fighting? The templars, which is stated several times in game. (Proof you didn't even play it.)

No context? There's context for every mission if you pay attention. you help the gypsies cause templars took their money, and oh yeah, you're doing what you can to be a pain in the templars asses. The books? To find where Altair hid the five masyaf keys. I'm not saying this game is great but play it before you review it.

Can somebody briefly explain the entire plot of AC up to Revelations? I want to get the game on steam, but I am probably not going to buy all of them.

@ivixeg There's no foundation to improve upon though. There's not much that can be added combat-wise to the assassin and there isn't much to be added to the guards. The Jannisaries showed that perfectly. If they had kept the original combat style from the first two games, then the combat would be much more complex. I was able to tell that the original combat style didn't even reach it's full potential, but we would never know, will we? They decided to scrap it and take an easy route.
