  • What is the song in this video?

  • The green creature seems fake since the amount of sss is too much and we can't even see inside the creature so it looks like a latex or rubber puppet.

  • i loved the bit with the plane

i can only imagein how hard fabric must be to animate, because of all the possable directions it could go

    very well done

  • wow!

  • Not bad. The only flaw I see is the material on that green dude. He looks a tad bit fake., Almost like he's glowing a bit. I'd like to see that but with a very glossy specular shader for his skin.

    good job.

  • you have really sharp tools

    don't cut yourself

    great stuff

  • I agree with Kaellial. I'm studying animation at Portsmouth University and it's great. The only techical thing is the use of softwares rest is creativity.

  • Depends. I'm doing it atm, and am trying to get them to use Maya as opposed to Max... especially with the amazing amount of bugs I've found in Max9. Max 2008/Maya2008 will be rolled out asap tho, so I'm waiting for that. Also, the entire department will be moving buildings for next year, so expect changes then too. As to what you can do... well that depends a lot on what you can do already and how much you can impress people. In all tho, it's a nice place to be and the lecturers are great.

  • You are a genious! x

  • i was think of taking computer animation at portsmouth but the prospectus made it seem like it was more technical based as opposed to creative based. how did you find the course? great video
