This is a 42" multi touch screen I built a while back. I figured it would be useful since I'm studying user interfaces. It's not nearly done yet but it works great. Shout out to NUI Group for all the helpful information.
You might ask why I didn't just buy a touch monitor or an iPad. I built this before iPads. This thing can track many more touches than any widely available touch screen on the market. It's already quite a bit larger than available screens and will most likely be getting larger. It will have all the capabilities of the Microsoft Surface and a lot more. And as far as cost, I got most of the parts on craigslist or from the hardware store for really cheap.
