  • why was the buckskin mare and her foal in the hospital pen?

  • The baby had gotten stuck in a fence and had a big scabbed gash across his chest. :o( I'm not sure if you could see it in the video.

  • Nice job on the video, the songs are very nice too..but next time, would be even greater if you video the MUSTANGS instead of the registered broodmares ;)

Keep the Spirit Alive, Ride a Mustang!

  • Haha - Well, they're both Mustangs and rescued horses which is why it's a sanctuary. ;o)

  • I love it. And the song, where can I find it?

  • :o) It's by Ulali and is on their only album, "Mahk Jchi."

  • @Carlyvrotz this sanctuary is in the southern Black Hills, about 50 miles south of Mount Rushmore. Its 13,000 acres of pristine wilderness. It was used in the filming of Hildago and several other movies. They're having a tough time in the current economy so they can use any help offered. You can see more at their web site: Black Hills Wild Horse Sanctuary. They've got some stories about how the horses came to be at the sanctuary and lots of pictures.

  • i love three things about this. 1) all the paints 2)the one little white foal 3) MUSTANGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • What songs are they? :) Very nice job by the way! :D

  • The web-site sucks! They take in mustangs?Liars!A friend of mine in trouble called them to help with her mustang after she donated to them for years. The reply to her was,"We do not take in mustangs, thanks for donating."She loved her mustang and she had terminal cancer and wanted a good life for her horse obviously this sanctuary is for PROFIT not to help mustangs in need.Luckily she found a ranch in NE that her mustang can spend her remaining years at.They helped her horse when this place did not

  • Nice looking Paints and Quarter horses.Umm,I thought this place was a 'sanctuary' for the wild mustangs?Looks like the typical horse rescue collecting donations to breed 'papered horses' when they should be helping horses in need. What a disappointment and a typical sham. Why does their web-site offer to sell papered horses? This helps promote the mustangs how?Hildago was not filmed using a real mustang. The horse was done with six Paints.'Flica' was the same with a Quarter horse. This helps how?

  • i gotta get me some squaw ;~^

  • ic thanks
