i don't think it's a real violin. just in that when it hits a lower note, its timbre completely changes. plus, all the notes were "hit" in the same way, as in each individual note sounds the same when its played, and even the timbre changes all sound the same. so yeah, i think it's synth'd.

@GodAloneBeTheGlory I can't verify if it's the violin or not. But is it that hard to believe? Charles Daniels (who plays 'The Devil Went Down to Georgia') is insane on the fiddle.

I believe that It's possible.
