at the gates slaughter of the soul

in 1995 my friend death metal dan turned me on to two bands, dissection and at the gates, in 1996 we finally got to see at the gates. once with morbid angel and dissection the other time with napalm death at the now defunct berkeley square in berkeley. This is footage of that show taken by a guy who used to do a public access show called 'the cathederal of doom' or some such thing.
I ended up purchasing this video on ebay and am sharing this now with fans of the band, and friends who were there with me at this show.
This show is important, because it was in my opinion the cross pollinization between the then hardcore scene and metal scene for good or bad... 10 years later, bands are still trying to capture the essence of this union.
