This video shows you how I "T-budded" a tree to become another variety. The base of the tree is a St. Julian A, which is appropriate for European and Asian plums. I am budding a Au Producer Asian plum bud onto this rootstock.

Keep in mind I'm a complete amateur, and this was some of the earliest t-budding I've done. But, this graft did take quite well, so the lesson is that even an imperfect bud-graft can work quite successfully!

  • Thanks for the feedback, I should have made it more clear I wasn't very experienced. I didn't find very helpful videos to guide me, so perhaps yours will be a better guide?

  • @Linsrooijakkers where did u learn to spell?

  • Was that your first t-budding ever? It's nice to explane everything but I think it was way to slow. The cut of the eye was very bad. If you search on 'chip-budding Lins rooijakkers' you see a movie from me. I trye to make also a T-budding movie, comming soon
