-
@222pj222 yes because 3 members of the Meistersextett were origin members of the Comedian Harmonists. The other 3 had to leave Germany.
-
@moucis How interesting. So, in other words, what you are saying is that it is not a song by the Comedian Harmonists and from Meistersextett and we can find it at the site dedicated to Comedian-Harmonists. Fascinating!

Danke fuer den Text!

@222pj222 Then your Record is wrong. The recording is known as Regentropfen by the Meistersextett.
By the way it was written by Josef Hochleitner and composed by Emil Palm.
The most complete songlist can be found on w w w comedian-harmonists c o m

The interested can find a poem from the Lodz-ghetto inspired by this song at Google-Books: h t t p : // xrl . in / 5u4g

@yoogleSUCKS Sorry. I don't speak German. From what I understood, you are saying that the Comedian Harmonists never recorded Regentropfen and that only Meistersextett did it à capella. There is a video named "Regentropfen" with Paul Dorn & Theo Heldt und sein Orchester (1935) here in youtube. More: you say that you don't like wrong information. I did what I could and used all that I had. Sorry if you didn't like. I'll edit the video in order to avoid further comments of this kind.

@yoogleSUCKS Just another thing to add. I watched many of the Regentropfen videos here in youtube. In my opinion, there is one record that seems a lot to the one chosen for my video. If the information given in the video is correct, Die Metropol Vokalisten are the ones who sing it and the record is, acording to the video, from 1935. I hope you are satisfied now. Have a good day.

A nice song, well arranged in the style of the day, but it is obviously not the original Comedian Harmonists.

Well, this is the information that my CD contains. I wasn't born at that time. Some of you are saying that it is Meistersextett, some say that it is not. Well, who even they are, Bruce Springsteen Quintet, Whoopie Goldberg and the Nuns of Changing Habit, the Trapp Family, Adriana Calcanhoto and Ivete Sangalo, it doesn't matter, they are good. I only wanted to share the infromation I had. If they are wrong, I leave to the Masters to say. Oh, I know, perhaps it is Jason Mraz or Cassandra Wilson.
