Another one of my favorite songs where it was next to impossible for some time to find a nice clean copy of this great 12" single release...

Now you can easily find Stanton Miranda and Thick Pidgeon (the band she played with that featured Steven Morris and Gillian Gilbert of New Order) via iTunes or ordering direct from LTM Publishing (who carry tons of great artists)...

Another great song by Stanton Miranda is her cover of Joy Division's "Love Will Tear Us Apart" on the album "A Means To An End - The Music Of Joy Division"...

  • i also have the instrumental version of this song

  • I love this song and the charmingly bizarre video.

  • anyone know the lyrics to this. Theres almost no info up about her online.

  • One of my all-time faves - big at STARCK Club in Dallas in the 80's. I posted the extended remix and dub version, for anyone interested.

  • any one have this on mp3

  • The people dancing at 1:15 remind me of Lady Radiator

  • FlorrieDugger, I know exactly what you are saying and I understand it's hard to articulate. I have the same bizarre void of memory and images that you have, but for me the early 1990's have more images because the 90s consists of my earliest childhood experiences. For me, its like a scrap book of memories that I vaguely remember...the flat top hairstyles, watching that nickelodeon show with Mark Summers, the typical blue, pink, and purple 90s typeface, weird stuff like that you know?

  • sounds like it is played at the wrong speed, I have this on vinyl.

  • I'm sooo glad I found this!! I recorded this off the radio when I was in high school- WNUR 89.3's "Streetbeat" show haha! The song I remember must've been a remix, it sounded a little different. Is there another version?

  • Cant get enough of this song! It's haunting.
