Which resistors need to be removed to do the freeband mod? Is there any benefit in doing the caps mod over the freeband?

@yellowjacketf4i they are no tresisters, just little solder blobs, remove all for except no 3 for Freeband. The free band gives the widest sellection of extra channels

I already have that device, but i will do that via software, so i bought the cable.

Is there an how-to for a software modification for the vx-7-commander anywhere on the web or maybe direct on youtube?

someone help please. Dont know how it happened but my vx7r got into spectrum analyzer operation and wont get out. I read the Manuel and it did nothing. I cant leave it. cant transmit only receive one repeater. Im gonna trash the radio im so pissed right now.
