When you mounted the spindle did you clamp it as close to the nose of the spindle as you could? I have the same setup and was just wondering how close to clamp it to minimize tool deflection. Thanks.

Hey VERY nice build! Looks like you're using 80/20 for the cross slides. You using the 80/20 poly bushings too? Hows the play in a system like that? Whats it's accuracy?

Nice job! I'm trying' to do something like this, but with DC motors and PID regulators. But not 2,2kW :-D, but with 4x140W DC motors...
