@OnlyF2P Simply right click on a blank area on the desktop, show view options, then increase the grid spacing slider until you can see the names. This works in Finder too.

HELP PLEASE
Okay so anything on my desktop with a name longer than like say 5 letters, it shortens it.
Example:
Vacation Pictures
it gets changed to
Va....res
its really annoying and if you know how to fix that thatd be AWESOME
