I don't have any chance to win... Actually I don't think there should be winners.. I mean - it's quite obvious that there ARE people here who make trends. F.e. speaking about me - I've already became obsessed with Christine's ghosting effect, Viinca's grainy chroma keyered characters, Kitty's ways of dealing with text, Spirited's using of film effects, Keyinei's colouring, Fire's masking... should I continue? xD

INFO FOR CONTEST
I think the theme should be named smth like ['Cookie Cutter Crazyness on the White Background']
It was a lot inspired by MMVs and anime music videos in general. I wanted to concentrate on one couple - my fav Duchess and O'Malley - and make it in playful and funky style, so that it'd look like a collage.. I hope you understand what I mean ^_^

Now some comments on the effects.
1. White BG. The most simple thing to do - but the clip on the white background looks much more funky and cool.
2. Marking beats with masked pictures of the main characters - in this particular case Duchess and O'Malley. Not really special, but I thought it would look nice and... more interesting than usual flashes, dissolves or whatever...
3. Cookie Cutters. Useful stuff. I tried as many different forms as possible, playing with masking, Wave effect, Deform effect and creative way of their replacement.
4. I couldn't resist and used Christine's ghost effect [thank you for tutorial, hun ♥] but I tried not to copy it without any changes... So I added moving cookie cutters to it - like at 1:34.
5. Venetian Blinds. Used them to make dotted lines in some cookie cutters... Dotted lines look pretty cool, don't they? ^_^
6. Text with Blur effect as the bottom layer - don't draw too much attention but creates movement, which looks fancy. Perhaps. xD

Geez...I hate Cookie Cutters with a passion in dmvs since they're being abused so much but you manage to do what I like about professional amvs. You create your own effects and even when you use common amv techniques you make them look sooo awesome *O* You're one of the very few dmv makers who will never stop to amaze me :D
