The mid 70s to the early 80s were the Speedster years of Vallejo High Schools Barton "Bart" Williams, Ricky Swift and D.A. Ducay. They competed at the highest level of Track & Field against such speedsters as Edwin Moses, Andre Philips, Didy Cooper, Robert "Spider" Gains..etc. Some later went on to make the U.S. Olympic team, N.C.A.A. College Confernce Champion, College League Champion and much later Corporate Champions.
