Route 66 Railtour at Brunthill

Film of the Branch Line Society's Route 66 Railtour of 9th October 2010. 66066 is seen heading the train along the Brunthill branch, a remnant of the Waverley route, with 66023 on the rear. The rear loco stopped a few yards beyond the trees. The returning train is then seen as it makes its return to Kingmoor Yard.

The filming location was not brilliant, but was the nearest we could get to the Network Rail limit without a trespass. Pity the train couldn't go all the way to the warehouse, as filming would have been much easier.
