I live in Missouri. and to be honest I'm ashamed that Kit Bond was one of our senators, he's ignorant. I apolgize to Rachel Maddow ( I didn't vote for Bond ), I'm sure you know Rachel that not all of us in Missouri share Bond's asinine opinions.

@Repeat3Times You are right, we have got our fair share over here. I am only basing my remarks on what I view here on YouTube, the fools seem to out number the intelligent ones. I did not say all Americans are retarded, I know that they are not because I lived in Florida for 1.5 years (21 years ago). As you say it is the loudest ones who get shown here on YouTube & wrongly everyone gets judged by their actions.

Thanks @coopsiesutub Suggesting that Rachel "can't" be specific about any of the Bush Admin abuses is a stretch - this is one video, a 71 second segment about Bond being thick / pandering, not a dissection of the Justice Dept. scandal. Even outwith the context of a short video, "chicken rights" is an analogy, not a diversion. If you're as keen to hear Rachel point out individual cases as you suggest, please watch the "Thanks" video on my channel (sorry, YT not letting me link).

From the perspective of someone who is not an American, it is very refreshing to see this woman, it restores my faith that not all Americans are retarded, just the majority of them from what I can see here on the internet. I used to think that it was the 3rd world Muslim countries that had all the crazy people, but thanks to the internet I can now see that America has got more than their fair share of them too.

@ACCSESS247 I know what you mean about Rachel, and others, being a refreshing alternative to the loud, unintelligent blowhards, especially all those years ago when she first appeared. For the same reasons, I think your "majority" of Americans is harsh - it's just that the idiots tend to lack the self-awareness to keep their stupidity to themselves. The UK is not innocent in this either.
