i tried to tape my joystick down and it worked fine but when i tape x down it didnt work cus i have to press x instead of hold it down. if anyone could help me it would be great.

If he's not at the lumber mill, he's in his house, i had this problem too, he just sits on the single bed and eats bread now ._. , but his house it the one with the cow in front of it. And if he is dead, then you can pretty much go to any lumber mill in Skyrim. There is a lumber mill next to Katla's farm in front of solitude that works, or, you can chop wood then sell it too the lady who owns the bannerd mare in whiterun. Anyone who you sell wood too has unlimited gold for it. Good luck :)

@coolXdude43 did you have a woodcutter's axe? That is probly the problem... they're kinda like needing a pickaxe to mine ore... but with wood.

Go to Game Options > Controls > Swap the "A" button (Activate button) to "RT". From there, if you have a modded controller, tape down the "Right Trigger" and the "Right Bumper" (Assuming you have already put the game sensitivity down on the lowest setting) Leave the game on overnight and check it when your done.
