@vanefreja86 I think on the 7th day after God had created earth, he sat down looked around and though “ ... after we’ve finished what we came here to do, let’s create something really nice just for the sake of beauty”. He took what was left from rocks and waters created scotland, and sprinkled that land with the most gentle, peaceful and open hearted people I’ve met in my life. The only other place in the world where I have met people that live totally in peace with themselves and others is DK.

This song reminds me of how I felt when I first set foot on my mothers homeland! I was an American soldier in the infantry. It was like my MacGregor spririts gathered to greet me! I could smell the wild heather sweet and strong that night. I picked a guardian thistle and smelt it. I could have sworn I heard men singing me a highland lullibie as I boarded the plane to Iraq!
