The most dangerous counterfeit is the one that is the closest to the real thing. The hundred dollar bills produced in North Korea will fool 8 out of 10 treasury agents! The purpose of this video is that it serve as a warning to those in my own school of belief - not to fall for the sweet tarts of the Calvinist deceptions. I believe, with my whole heart in Election and predestination of the elect from before the foundation of the world.... the Calvinists say the same thing - BUT, they throw in this very deceptive caveat.... that a man's salvation is dependent in his obedience to the gospel until the day he dies, in order to get to heaven! What is this if it is not salvation by works? This is nothing but warmed over "Sacramentalism" of the Roman Catholic founders of the Reformation and all of her daughters, whether Calvinist Baptists, Calvinist Presbyterians, Calvinist Anglicans, Calvinist Puritans or just plain Augustinian Calvinist. The elitist debate mongering self-styled intellectual Reformer types just need to get down to an open an honest admission - that their theology of Calvin's 5th point [Perseverance] is works - no different than their early counterparts that were Judaizing Christianity in Paul's churches by promoting Circumcision and the Law of Moses as a requirement for eternal salvation [Acs 15 - Gal 2]. See my videos here and also my blogs: www.HowSaved.com - www.SavedHow.com - www.judaizers.com - www.CognitiveFaith.com - www.JesusSavesAlone.com - The only means of the quickening regeneration of an elect soul is THE VOICE OF CHRIST SPEAKING IN A SINGULAR CREATIVE ACT DIRECTLY TO THAT SOUL. Jn 5:25 - Jn 6:63 "It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life." Not the Preacher, not the Preaching, not the Bible, not man's will, not choice, not the church, not anything - other than Jesus Christ in a sovereign act of love for His elect alone!

  • I feel you made several wrong assumptions about me. I am a Calvinist and I believe that God is the only reason I continue in the faith "for it is God who works in [me]"

The P is not focused on the perseverance of saints to the end, but the fact that ALL of them WILL. (in contrast, perseverance of some saints). There is no question that endurance is required (Mat 13:13, Col 1:23), but the source of the strength is from God alone.

    Accusing a Calvinist of work's righteousness - that's a new one

  • @JoelTheCalvinist What did you do to get saved?

  • @JoelTheCalvinist Answer me.... was Solomon dutifully obeying God in the end of his life? Is Solomon in heaven today?

  • @JoelTheCalvinist I like your commemt.

  • @hugiaino - Nothing.

  • I thought the saints of the Old Testament, e.g., Abraham and Noah, when they died, did not go to Heaven, but to that part of Hell known as "Abraham's Bosom" described in Lk 16:22. It was there where Christ descended in order ot preach the Gospel to them (1 PT 3:19). Hebrews 11:39 attests that they did not receive the promise. When they died, they went to that part of Hell known as Abraham's Bosom, to wait for Christ to come and preach the Gospel to them.

  • It's ALL God. 100% God. The Father chose who is saved and gave us to Christ. Jesus declared that all that the Father gives me will come to me. he did not say that all people that ever lived, he said all that the father gives me. There's a difference. Calvinists understand this; Arminians don't. Salvation is of the Lord, let no man boast that it is "my own good decision" to come to Christ. None that the Father gives to Christ is ever lost. No one can snatch us out of his mighty hand.

  • @EWETUBER2 Nobody, that is intelligent, says or implies that God HAD TO shed blood to make coats of skins..... it is just a logical conclusion, to a reasonable person. Skin is either human or animal. Assuming it was animal [which is reasonable] and Jesus was the Lamb of God..... and men have used sheep skin and wool for thousands of years, for clothing - it is also reasonable that what God did in making "coats of skins" for Adam and Eve was prophetically instructional. DUH!

  • @EWETUBER2 "Faith OF" in Rom. 3:22; Gal. 2:16; Gal. 3:22; Phil 3:9 - is consistent in Douay-Rhiems [from the Vulgate] and the Geneva Bible. It is only changed to "faith IN" in the 103 translations since Westcott and Hort in 1880. You don't have to be a KJV hugger to see why it is better than all the rest! If the language [king's English] is too difficult to navigate with proper instruction, one has to be pretty stupid. It is a lame excuse. Even children have understood it for 399 years!

  • @EWETUBER2 Yes, Long before Calvinist Baptist of the Reformation era. Baptist can be a denominational term or as generic term meaning those who baptize professing believers only. These have been around since Jesus time - there was plenty of opportunity to baptize babies in the new Testament - but there is no record of this Judaized-Catholic practice in the bible.... not even amongst the Jews. There are records of Christians in England like this in the 1st century.
