15 Source Orchestral Soundtrack Mashup

D I S C L A I M E R : This purpose of this upload (though not typical for a 'mashup') is to elicit useful forum discussion from users on sound mix, instrumentation, and orchestral soundscapes. The comment section of this video can hopefully be a good place to talk not only about music and recorded sound, but the manipulation and combination of it in software like GarageBand or other, similar multitrack sound editors. If you know a trick, please post it here for others to learn. If I appear to have used a trick, I'll explain it to the best of my ability.

Questions from beginners on simple matters, like how to import audio, or adjust equalizer settings are more than permitted, they are welcome. This is what this post is here for. I hope I can help. I hope others will help, too.

@MRLOL785 These are selections from some of my favorite soundtracks. I'm glad you enjoyed them! A handful of the tracks aren't from the actual movie soundtracks, but are re-recordings by the late conductor Erich Kunzel.

'The Great Fantasy Adventure Album' is worth taking a look at, if you're interested. If not for his selection, then for the quality of the instrumentation.

Holy. Crap. This is the most beautiful thing I've ever heard in my lifetime!

hank you! It fell together over the course of a few days. The only real hard part was in finding two examples of film music that shared not only a similar tempo and compatible key, but movements where the same instruments played at a volume close enough that the two could blend. While there are a few fades here and there that could be more natural, I think it turned out well enough that nothing is too jarring and noticeable.
