Oh yeah, that's strange. I just watched it over again, and he called both of those audio outputs "s/pdifs. Yeah, that doesn't really make sense for the analog input.

Although, I was refering to the digital coaxial cable when I commented below when I said, "... optical audio cable... ."

it's an alternative for sound output. Just in case, for some odd reason, let's say your HDMI doesn't output audio. You run to the store, and buy a TOSLINK optical audio cable, and plug it in the spdif port.

Now a days--it's just there. No one really uses it because the majority of HDMI's support audio. Yeah. :)
