www.pazumpa.com Clean drinking water is one of the most important element of your food storage.
While a person could survive for a few weeks without food, one cannot survive more than 3 days without water.
During an emergency, water is necessary for washing, cooking, and cleaning.

  • Remember, boiling takes fuel. If you are low on fuel (wood, propane, etc.) boiling becomes less of an option.

Distilling also takes energy, unless you have a solar distiller. There are other options. This is one. And the filter that is used is very, very effective.

The buckets are made from food grade HDPE plastic--the same as used to store wheat.

  • laminate the instructions.. saves the instructions in case they get wet.

    Great instructions!

  • Laminate and keep WITH the bucket.

  • @SafeArmsReview Well, the people have to be careful, not the maker. it's the responsibility of the allergic person to look out for themselves. The world know nothing of them. For instance, iodine is used in the radiology department, we ask if you are allergic, and won't use it on you, but continue to use it for others who are not allergic. Iodine works very well, a classic water purifier. People who are allergic, shouldn't use it.

  • Beware, in the 'wild' standing crystal clear water, like in a pond, with little or no fish should not be consumed. The water is likely full of salts of heavy metals such as arsnic.

  • where do you get the filter bag?

  • Good stuff to know Aaron, Thanks!

    Warning!

Birds and reptiles carry Salmonella to roof and rain water, it should be Treated also!

Note: liquid bleach loses ~15% of it's strength per year so mark with date & stock rotation is important. If the bleach is 4 years old you would just double that dose and you're good.

"Standard" bleach is 5.25 to 6.0% Chlorine by weight.

  • @SINGINGxxCHERRY

Depending on the Mfg.'er, 2 tablets of the iodine per 2 liters of water...

  • can someone tell us the ration idone to water?

  • Where can you get the filter bags?

  • Psssst, if this goes public then nobody will buy this stuff anymore. But i have an even more shocking news. When you capture rain in clear vessels you can drink it without risk - my girlfriends family in Thailand is doing this every rainy season.

  • Might be a good idea to buy a small solar-powered machine that produces drinking water right from the air. h2ogenerator(dot)com

  • New system I seen on the news....

Water in a clear bottle. (remove lables) Put the bottle in direct sunlight for 4 hours (minimum) and the UV light makes the water safe to drink. This is being used to save lives in africa.
