  • If, after 3 to 4 years (surely you should know exactly when you started!) you need to start pushing Europeana, the obvious question is, were you really needed in the first place? Given the current financial crisis facing Europe, are you really money well spent?

  • ...Battling, why is there such a need to fight if the true nature of europeana is to share it freely? This needs to be discussed, and better understood by the world community. I love the idea of Europeana, but as a citizen of the world and one who is heavily involved in the digital archiving world as a one of the world's only Portable Cruse Scanner owner operators, how is Europeana going to provide both cultural and fiscal value to the EU to justify its cost? Most Sincerely...
