Almost half a million of Argentines rallied in the streets of Buenos Aires on Thursday to protest against President Cristina Kirchner.
However, Kirchner's economic and political policies have benefited the poor and some sectors of the middle class, helping her popularity to remain high in these areas.
Al Jazeera's Teresa Bo reports from the Argentine capital, Buenos Aires.

Nationalism is good? Didn't that lead to Stalin's form of Communism and Hitler's form of Socialism?

No... government pay for school to brainwash your children, you send them to training camps, they get educated with propaganda... you sell your children to the government for a hand out, then they become pawns in their games for the rest of their lives, or they wake up, realize what happened to them, see all the other players on the chess board and realize the vast majority of everything anyone of any supposed position says is propaganda, and worthless.

Argentina has a handful of rusty old boats leftover from the Falklands war, none of which would even be able to spot let alone fight a British nuclear sub. And in a few years Britain will have her Queen Elizabeth class carriers flying F-35s and Typhoons. And Argentina's air force will continue to rust away.

We both know that will not happen, and that trying to do so will only result in more useless loss of life.

well kristina is using the tried and true chavez style, uplift the poor and you get the votes, heck most of the voters are poor. Smart and good.

However while that good thing is said and I have no problem with socialists, I do think that the Brits will still kick argie ass the next time they think of invading the falklands again.
