My scratch built, homemade minibike. It uses a Suffolk engine, Comet clutch and #41 chain. It has been 22mph.

@cotmullion Nooooo. If you moved it backward, the chain wouldn't be so long, thus eliminating the need for the tensioner.... Technically, you are right. Practically???

Why not move the engine to the rear so you don't need the chain tensioner? Just asking... Looks like it runs real slick too.... Ugly as hell but I like it because it works well!!! Great job, boss... :-D

To eliminate the need for a tensioner the engine must move FORWARD......
