Monty, 11 yr old ex racehorse, learning lateral work with his owner, our yard manager, Kay. He has hunted, show jumped a little, and competed prelim dressage, but we are now schooling him on in classical dressage, hoping he will go all the way, as he has excellent hock action and ability to lower his hindquarters, and a super trainable temperament. We want to show what ex racehorses can do! This was only his second attempt at half pass, and had only tried travers a few times at most.
