Women were never oppressed, biology ensures that in every human society women are confined to the role of child bearer/raiser. This isn't a patriarchal conspiracy, its nature.

@NicoleLLang I think she means backbiting as a manifestation of ego. I thinks Andrew Cohen and Dr. Debold are simply saying that in order for women to come together in real collaboration and community they need to do it beyond ego. Beyond ego is a more authentic expression of who you are. The result would be a more authentic engagement between women - a powerful womens movement!

as shown in the movie andrew cohen was sighted with amma, she is a patriarchal woman in all ways. her hugs are but superfical, to dirive in the masses towards a eatern version of chritisanity, krisna, a patriarchal god.

men have become less of men and have turn our hard work in a diffrent direction in the new women Liberation and are still takeing advantage of women and are feeding even more from our hard work men need to step up and be men and work just has hard as we do in every way I do not at all hate men but we women need to keep up our hard work for we are not all the way there yet I truely look at men and women equals only if they work together as equals

Wait a minute - Andrew Cohen and Dr. Bebold are saying that backbiting comprises women's nature? Going to have to disagree.. 'backbiting' is that of an egoic relationship and should not be considered women's or men's true nature!

One more thing. Remember women you're women do you realize how much power you have naturally? You're the cradle of life, without you there's no (Human race) that makes you pretty damn powerful. You could have men at your feet, resist always, learn self defense, get educated in your past, build world wide sister hoods, work on your self esteem issues, and most importantly stop caring what men think! That's evolution!
